Spirax Sarco Introduces Steam Filter Stations for Sterilization, FS-HC Series

Spirax Sarco, the global leader in steam system engineering and management has expanded its product line to include the new Steam Filter Stations for Sterilization FS-HC Series. This new product solution is specifically designed to provide the best steam quality and purity going into sterilizers in the healthcare industry. This exciting new release will help customers in medical facilities to ensure the purity and quality of steam provided is appropriate for effective sterile processing, allowing them to comply with AAMI ST79 Section 3.3.3 “Steam for Sterile Processing”.

According to Carlino, the FS-HC Series is available to purchase as a kit of components or as a fully assembled station. The FS-HC Series includes a line sized separator with associated trap kit to remove residual condensate, line size strainer to remove any remaining dirt and debris, a 3A certified clean steam filter, pressure gauges to measure pressure drop across the filter, isolation valves at key points to enable ease of maintenance for the separator, steam trap, and steam filter.
