Sales Engineer/Manager - Singapore
Summary of Duties & Responsibilities
• Responsible for F&B and General Industry
• Actively pursue new clients and promote product range to an existing cliental base
• Evaluate customer requirements to map out solutions and recommend and propose steam system services, improvements and upgrades
• Recognize and convey potential areas of opportunity to the marketing and business development team
• Negotiation, closing of sales, and conduct product presentations
• Preparation of tender bids for project quotes with technical and commercial negotiations
• System commissioning with the Service team, if required
• Achieve orders, sales, and profit targets set by the General Manager
• Undertake a business plan for the assigned industrial sector in accordance with set and agreed to KPIs and Company standards
• Maintain customer records and proactively plan customer account activities and objectives through CRM
• KPIs at weekly and monthly intervals or as directed by the General Manager
• Work closely with all supporting departments including Sales & Service Support, Warehouse & Distribution, and Finance departments to achieve the company’s objectives
Qualifications / Experience
• Degree in Engineering or Diploma with 3 to 5 years experience work experience for engineer position. Mechanical Engineering background would be an advantage
• Proven genuine desire to sell and ability to work towards targets and deadlines
• Demonstrate customer service skills and appropriate business presentation
• Proficient computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office and Dynamics CRM)
• Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated and positive work attitude
• Possess a valid Class 3 driving license and own vehicle
• Willing to travel for business trip (if needed)
• Suitable candidates with relevant knowledge and experience will be considered for the managerial position
